Monel 400
Monel 400 alloy (UNS N04400 or MCu-28-1.5-1.8 or Ni68Cu28Fe) is a nickel-based alloy material with good corrosion resistance in seawater, chemical solvents, ammonia, sulfur, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, various acidic media such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acids, alkaline media, salts and molten salts.
Monel 400 (Monel400, N04400) steel plate is a high-performance nickel-based alloy steel plate, which is widely used in various industrial fields due to its excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and good mechanical properties.

Monel K500
Monel K500 alloy is a new type of alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and higher strength and hardness than Monel 400. This is because after adding Al, Ti and other elements to the alloy and undergoing certain heat treatment, dispersed intermetallic compounds exist on the matrix. The organizational structure is a single-phase austenite organization and is precipitated by dispersed Ni3 (Al, Ti) precipitates.
Monel K500 has about three times the yield strength and twice the tensile strength of Monel 400, and higher mechanical properties can be obtained through cold working or aging hardening. Monel K500 alloy has the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400 alloy.
Monel K500 alloy is mainly used for pump shafts and impellers, conveyor scrapers, oil well drill rings, elastic components, valve pads, etc. It can also be used to manufacture various heat exchange equipment, boiler feed water heaters, petroleum and chemical pipelines, containers, towers, tanks, valves, pumps, reactors, shafts, etc. Due to the low corrosion rate in flowing seawater and the high strength of this alloy, Monel K500 is suitable for manufacturing centrifugal pump shafts resistant to seawater corrosion. It is suitable for static and flowing seawater.
