630 stainless steel plate stainless steel coil 1500*6000 machinery manufacturing plate.
630 stainless steel is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. The performance characteristics of 630 stainless steel are that the strength level can be easily adjusted, which can be adjusted by changing the heat treatment process. The martensitic phase transformation and aging treatment to form precipitation hardening phase are its main strengthening means. 630 stainless steel has good attenuation performance and strong corrosion fatigue resistance and water drop resistance.

630 stainless steel is a precipitation hardening, martensitic stainless steel.
630 stainless steel is a precipitation hardening, martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium/columbium.
This grade has high strength, hardness (up to 300º C/572º F) and corrosion resistance.
After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are further improved and compressive strengths of up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi) can be achieved.
This grade should not be used above 300º C (572º F) or at very low temperatures. It has good corrosion resistance to both atmospheric and dilute acids or salts. Its corrosion resistance is the same as 304 and 430.
Applications
· Offshore platforms, helicopter decks, other platforms
· Food industry
· Pulp and paper industry
· Aerospace (turbine blades)
· Mechanical components
· Nuclear waste drums
630 stainless steel is a precipitation, water-quenched, martensitic stainless steel, and this grade has high strength, hardness and corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are further improved, and the compressive strength can reach up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi). This grade cannot be used above 300℃ (570F) or at very low temperatures. It has good corrosion resistance to both atmospheric and dilute acids or salts. Its corrosion resistance is the same as 304 and 430.
The elongation of stainless steel 630 is still very high. It is even higher than that of many low alloy steels. This is mainly due to its high nitrogen content and another characteristic related to it - high work hardening rate. Therefore, high strength can be obtained in parts formed by cold working. Applications that can take advantage of this feature include pipes and bolts in deeper wells. Stainless steel 630 is the same as ordinary stainless steel. The low temperature performance of stainless steel 630 is also very good. The impact and fracture resistance of stainless steel 630 is also very high. And it will only drop slightly when it is as low as -196℃. This shows that the low temperature performance of stainless steel 630 is very good.
