17-4PH stainless steel plate SUS630 steel plate 1-60mm thickness density 7.78g/cm³ can be cut.
The main advantages of 17-4PH stainless steel plate include high strength, high hardness, good corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties. This stainless steel alloy is composed of chromium, nickel and copper, and also contains elements such as niobium. Its mechanical properties can be significantly improved through heat treatment, reaching a compressive strength of up to 1100-1300 MPa. 17-4PH stainless steel shows good corrosion resistance in a variety of environments, generally better than 400 series stainless steel and equivalent to 304 stainless steel.
Specific application scenarios
17-4PH stainless steel is widely used in many fields, including:
Aerospace: used to manufacture aircraft structural parts, engine components and propeller shafts, etc..
Chemical equipment: suitable for pump casings, valves, reaction vessels and piping systems.
Energy Industry: Key components for oil and gas equipment.
Medical Devices: Manufactures surgical instruments, implants and medical device components.
Processing and heat treatment
17-4PH stainless steel can be processed through a variety of processing techniques, including welding and machining. Its mechanical properties can be adjusted through heat treatment. Commonly used heat treatment methods include solution treatment and aging treatment. Solution treatment can improve its ductility and plasticity, while aging treatment can improve hardness and strength.
In summary, 17-4PH stainless steel has been widely used in multiple industrial fields due to its high strength, excellent corrosion resistance and adjustable mechanical properties.
